Katie Evans aka Hart Variations handmakes each of these pieces in her home studio in Oakland, California. She is an accomplished multi-media artist. Her creations are the epitome of craftsmanship paired with a modern style reflecting her love of natural history. 
 
This work is composed of very thin glass that encases a piece of shed snake skin between soldered silver(oxidized to a dark but polished finish) using the Tiffany method.
