Inspired by San Jose's Orchard Past, "Valley of the Hearts" is a creamy rich vanilla butter black tea brought to a vibrant life by fruits and flowers. The second you open the cannister, the aromatics arise even before the hot water is added! 
 
This blend was based on my longing for a Bay Area version of Soderblaning, best steeped to a medium red. Don't wait too long to drink it or you'll miss the sweet spring subtleties and head straight for the bolder tones-- and yet, even then, a vanilla curve will still remain in that bite, drink immediately if you want to skip on the tannins! Ah, this tea is so good and its aromatics are so memorable and unique. Touch of cream in a bold cup? Or serve it very light..so many different flavors to find in it.
 
All of our teas were blended specifically for Petite Galleria by shop owner April working with tea connoisseur Will Otero(former chef who has been working in tea for 30 years formulating blends for big brands and for his own beautiful tea shop, Leland Tea in Burlingame, Ca).  Will is so in love with his work that he has an entire tattooed arm sleeve of all of his ingredients, and it's gorgeous!

Typically, one oz will make 10-15 6 oz cups of tea, depending on how strong you like it. Our 30 servings is on the conservative side in measuring..you will probably get more from this tin.)
